5 minute read

Today at Ignite 2026, we unveiled six new products and enhancements to more than 300 environmental, health, safety, and quality (EHSQ) leaders.
Each one is designed to help your team turn raw data into meaningful insights, close compliance gaps faster, and spend less time on manual, paper-based processes.
Here’s what’s new and who will benefit most.
Who’ll benefit most from these update
| Role | Category | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| EHS data and reporting analyst | Insight AI | Years of free-text incident and audit data become something you can trend, compare, and question. |
| Environmental and compliance specialist | ACTS | A modern, mobile-friendly view of your equipment, monitoring points, and regulatory structure with your existing setup untouched. |
| Industrial hygienist | Hazard IQ Gateway Rebuild | Gas detection readings land in your workflows on their own, so exposure investigations start the same day. |
| EHS manager and director | Contractor Management, LOTO, Chemical Procurement & SDS | Chemicals, contractors, and hazardous energy procedures move into one governed workflow so you’re not rebuilding the record every time someone asks for it. |
| Procurement / operations | Chemical Procurement | Chemical approvals move in hours instead of days, with hazards flagged before anything reaches the site. |

Transform raw EHS data into actionable, predictive intelligence with Insight AI
What it is Insight AI turns the raw EHS data your teams already capture into structured, analyzable intelligence. It classifies, aggregates, correlates, investigates, and describes incident, hazard, and audit information so patterns become visible without manual effort.
How it works Insight AI reads the free text and scattered fields inside your EHS records and automatically structures them into classified data. From there it surfaces emerging trends and correlations across records, and supports root cause investigation by looking at the full record rather than isolated fields. The result is a continuous stream of analyzed data that updates as new records come in.
What changed from before? EHS teams were capturing enormous volumes of incident, hazard, and audit data, but most of it lived as unstructured free text or sat in inconsistent fields. That made reporting slow, trending unreliable, and benchmarking across sites or business units difficult to do with any confidence. Getting a usable view often meant manual tagging, cleanup, and spreadsheet work before analysis could even start.
Why it matters going forward Spend your time acting on what the data is telling you instead of preparing it. Recurring issues and hidden correlations surface earlier, investigations start with more context, and the numbers you take into a leadership review are consistent enough to stand behind. Over time, the data you’ve already been collecting becomes a genuine early-warning signal rather than a record of what already happened.

One governed workflow for chemical safety, compliance and SDS management
What it is A single governed workflow that brings chemical requests, approvals, SDS management, safety labels, and substitute identification onto one platform. This embeds chemical procurement directly into your EHS workflow rather than leaving it to standalone SDS lookups or static databases.
How it works Chemical requests move through automated approval routing, so the right reviewers see them in sequence without anyone chasing sign-off. When a chemical is rejected, the decision is recorded with its rationale, so everyone knows why it isn’t approved for a given location. Approved chemicals are tied to a live, version-controlled SDS catalog that stays current. Safety labels are built right in the platform with OSHA-aligned templates and QR codes that open the linked SDS, and substitutes are maintained for each chemical so your team knows what to use when one is banned or runs out. Approval cycles that used to take days now close in hours.
What changed from before? EHS Managers were accountable for every chemical onsite but were working with fragmented tools, manual paperwork, and SDS documents that were often out of date. Hazards were frequently discovered only after a chemical had already arrived on site, and pulling together accurate records for an audit meant scrambling across systems and filing cabinets.
Why it matters going forward You know what’s coming onto your site before it gets there, and you can act on it while there’s still time to choose a safer alternative. The SDS your team pulls up is the current one, the approval trail is already documented, and audit requests stop being a fire drill. Chemical oversight becomes something you manage deliberately rather than reconstruct after the fact.

Intuitive compliance management for environmental assets with ACTS
What it is A modernized interface for Assets and Compliance Tracking System (ACTS) that brings compliance asset management, monitoring points, and environmental records into one clean, consistent experience. It also adds out-of-the-box emissions summary dashboards that roll up data across areas and facilities, so you can see totals and trends without building reports by hand.
How it works You navigate, configure, and visualize facility equipment and regulatory structures from a single modern interface rather than moving between separate administration screens. Assets are organized by area, location, and portfolio, with a map-based view that shows your environmental assets by location. ACTS is backward-compatible with your existing configurations and backend database, so everything you’ve already built carries forward with no migration required. It’s also mobile-friendly, so the work isn’t tied to a desk.
What changed from before? Managing compliance assets, monitoring points, and environmental records meant navigating across separate legacy administration screens. Routine configuration work took longer than it needed to, and the learning curve was steep for anyone who didn’t use the system daily.
Why it matters going forward The same compliance work takes less time and less explaining. New team members get productive faster, field and facility staff can work from a phone or tablet, and you get a clearer view of how your assets and regulatory structures actually fit together. Because nothing needs to be migrated, you get the improvement without the project.

End to-end contractor pre-qualification and compliance with Contractor Management
What it is End-to-end contractor pre-qualification and compliance management, delivered through a dedicated Contractor Management app and a self-serve Contractor Portal.
How it works Contractors submit and maintain their own documentation through the self-serve portal. On the management side, a structured flow moves each contractor from registration through required documents to final approval, and a contractor’s category automatically determines which documents and checklists are required, so onboarding stays consistent without rebuilding the list every time. Reviews can route to the right person or team, and renewal dates are tracked so expirations don’t slip by unnoticed.
What changed from before? Tracking safety qualifications, insurance certifications, and renewal dates ran on manual spreadsheets, email follow-ups, and disconnected supplier forms. Expiry dates slipped through, chasing documents fell to whoever noticed first.
Why it matters going forward You know who’s qualified to be on site before they show up, without spending your week chasing certificates. Contractors keep their own records current, and expirations surface before they become a problem. Pre-qualification stops being an administrative burden and starts being a real risk control.
Govern hazardous energy control digitally with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
What it is A digital system for governing hazardous energy control, covering the authoring, review, approval, and ongoing maintenance of equipment-specific isolation procedures.
How it works Build and standardize an isolation procedure for each piece of equipment, then route it through review and approval before it goes live. Each procedure defines the energy type, the device to lock out, and the steps to isolate, verify, and remove the lockout. There are multiple isolation points per piece of equipment and standard energy sources and lockout devices available to build from. Each procedure also includes linked training verification and a traceable change history so you can see who’s qualified to perform the isolation and what has been revised over time.
What changed from before? Hazardous energy control procedures lived in paper binders, static PDFs, or local spreadsheets. Keeping version control was a constant effort, it wasn’t always obvious whether the procedure at the equipment was the current one, and reconstructing an audit trail meant piecing together documents after the fact.
Why it matters going forward Your team works from the approved, current procedure every time, and you can prove it. Training verification sits alongside the procedure rather than in a separate record, revisions are documented as they happen, and audit traceability becomes a byproduct of the workflow instead of a separate exercise. For a program where the stakes are this high, that consistency is the point.
Live gas detection data direct via Industrial Scientific iNet instruments in your safety workflows
What it is A rebuilt integration that streams live gas detection data from Industrial Scientific iNet instruments directly into your Intelex safety workflows.
How it works Instrument alarms route automatically from iNet into Incident Management and Industrial Hygiene, landing as records in the workflows your team already uses. There’s no manual transfer step in between, so a reading in the field becomes an actionable record without anyone rekeying it.
What changed from before? Moving gas detection readings and alarm records from iNet instruments into Intelex meant handling the data manually. That introduced reporting lag and left exposure information sitting in a separate record set from the incidents and hygiene cases it related to.
Why it matters going forward An alarm in the field shows up where your team is already working, while the exposure is still fresh and the conditions are still knowable. Exposure investigations start sooner and with better data, your incident and hygiene records reflect what instruments actually measured, and nobody spends their time transcribing readings between systems.
