In Q1, we focused on removing friction—by introducing new capabilities and improving experiences to speed up the work of EHSQ teams.
From experience improvements that cut down on clicks and reduce language barriers, to Intelex Essentials, a simplified version of our core safety software for growing organizations, to new environmental compliance tools that make it easier for oil and gas customers to meet EPA reporting needs.
These updates help you spend less time managing technology and more time making an impact. Here’s what’s new.

EHSQ product experience improvements
This quarter’s EHSQ improvements focus on making the platform easier and more efficient to use. These updates will help teams spend less time navigating the system and more time driving results.
“These updates build on an already strong foundation.
– Scott Gerard, Senior EHS Solutions Consultant, Intelex
Some are very substantial, some may look simple, but all solve real challenges.
As someone who’s deployed Intelex as both a practitioner and a system admin,
every single one would’ve made a meaningful difference
in the rollout and day-to-day use.”
1. Remove language barriers to improve adoption with Open Text Translation
❌ Before: EHS managers in charge of multi-lingual workforces weren’t able to read form-field content written in unfamiliar languages without copy/pasting that content into a third-party service.
✅ Now: Workers can fill out forms in their native language and EHS managers can instantly translate that content into their own preferred language with the click of a button in Intelex. This reduces friction for frontline workers and saves time for EHS leaders.
2. Scroll less so you can do more with Searchable Dropdowns
❌ Before: Long dropdown lists required tedious scrolling and clicking to find the content you’re looking for.
✅ Now: Searchable dropdowns enable users to quickly find items in long lists. Simply start typing to filter dropdown options, reducing the time needed to complete forms and navigate the system.
3. Deliver expert safety training effortlessly with MARCOM Partnership
❌ Before: While Intelex supported training program management, customers didn’t have access to built-in safety course content and had to source training materials separately.
✅ Now: Intelex now offers 300+ industry-specific training courses through our partnership with MARCOM, a leading provider of safety and regulatory compliance content. Adaptive learning technology enables employees to skip familiar content and focus on gaps, cutting training time by 50%.
“The industry-tailored content, combined with adaptive learning technology,
– John Blackman, Intelex customer
ensures that our team engages in relevant and efficient training.
We’re confident that the implementation of the Intelex system
and training solution will lead to tangible improvements
across our QHSE initiatives, strengthening our safety culture
and operational excellence.”

4. Simplify user access on mobile apps with Biometric Authentication
❌ Before: Users logging in to mobile apps needed to remember and enter their username and password each time. This can lead to account lockouts when passwords were entered incorrectly or forgotten.
✅ Now: Mobile app users can now use a pin code or their biometrics (like face or fingerprint) to access Intelex mobile apps, simplifying user experience while enhancing security.
5. Do more in fewer clicks with Inspection Layout Improvements
❌ Before: Completing an inspection checklist required a click-heavy process to see, input, and save checklist answers.
✅ Now: An updated inspection checklist layout allows users to navigate and input answers with significantly fewer clicks and less wait time.
6. Turn incident data into easily sharable reports with incident Merge Templates
❌ Before: Customers lacked a consistent library of merge templates that simplified the process of extracting data from Intelex objects and exporting it into Microsoft Word or PDF reports.
✅ Now: A new merge template library makes it easier than ever to create, edit, and export incident data into Word or PDF versions of common incident reports.

Intelex Essentials: Our core safety solution, simplified
❌ Before: Customers in the small and midsize businesses were often unable to find an Intelex safety solution that met their less complex needs and budget.
✅ Now: Intelex Essentials offers a powerful slice of our core safety product offering to SMBs with limited configuration requirements. It includes several core safety applications, intuitive platform features, out-of-the-box reports, and a self-serve implementation experience.

Automate additional oil & gas compliance reports with OOOOa/b Content Pack
❌ Before: Intelex offered a preconfigured solution for the United States EPA’s New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) subpart OOOOa. But it did not yet support subpart OOOOb for oil and gas customers using our ACTS products.
✅ Now: ACTS customers can take advantage of our new US EPA OOOOa/b Content Pack that helps Air Compliance Managers and EHS professionals streamline the identification of reportable sources, the acquisition of inspection data and the generation of properly formatted regulatory forms.
