Intelex is Platinum Sponsor at NAEM EHS Management Forum!

Everything’s bigger in Texas, including Intelex’s presence as Platinum Sponsor at the final conference of the season: the NAEM EHS Management Forum.

NAEM hosts several specialized conferences annually that Intelex has always been eager to take part in. From the 2014 Advancing Compliance Assurance Conference this past August to the EHS Management Forum which comes to a close today, this elite group of conventions consistently remains on the roster of Intelex events.

EHS solutions experts Steve Ross and Jeremy Mawson traveled to Austin to represent Intelex at the forum.  Issue-focused conferences like this are an excellent way to network with driven industry professionals and a great opportunity to focus on how our applications can aid organization’s EHS initiatives. The 4th Annual Intelex Spri…FORE!

This past weekend marked the 4th annual Intelex Spring Classic! Equipped with Intelex  branded golf balls and tees, over 60 Intelexians made the trip to Ajax where we invaded the Deer Creek Golf Course. The bus unloaded at noon and a fleet of carts awaited the group. With the assistance of the Deer Creek staff (keeping the excited group organized), the tournament began!

The foursomes took off into two separate courses. The skill level varied from very-first-timers to seasoned golfers, allowing everybody to take part. Each team was divided evenly based on their experience but also by work department – the best part about these events is getting to know people you may not get a chance to spend time with at the office.

From June 8-10 safety professionals from around the globe will be attending The ASSE Safety 2014 Professional Development Conference & Exposition in Orlando, Florida. Three full days of education sessions, roundtables and lectures from industry experts is what attendees of Safety 2014 can expect when they invade the Orange County Convention centre this year.  This ASSE conference is an annual occurrence for the Intelex team and we are thrilled to announce we will be returning again this week!

Intelex ½ Vision Meeting – 2014.5

Are we really half way through Fiscal Year 2014? It seems only yesterday that Intelexians were testing their luck and rolling the dice at our annual Vision Meeting’s pop up Casino party. But spring is finally here which means one specific thing for all Torontonians: Jays Games. It also means it’s time for the Intelex team to get together and reflect on the year and to map out goals for the next 6 months. And so begins the Half Vision Meeting – 2014.5.

Blue t-shirts arrived prior to the event to help celebrate our Gartner accomplishments in style. All 250 matching Intelexians were in attendance including two of our British colleagues, Bobby  and Colin, who flew in for the occasion! New products on the roadmap, expansion plans, and marketing initiatives were shared by the executive team. A Golden Weekend : Intelex Retreat 2014

With Tim Horton’s cups in hand and the men’s semi-final Olympic hockey game on the radio, Intelex employees headed north this past weekend through the 10 ft snowbanks for the Annual Intelex Holiday Retreat.

For the second year in a row, the JW Marriott Rosseau Muskoka was invaded by two buses full of eager Intelexians. The weekend was packed with snow shoeing, swimming, relaxing at the spa, and even the Intelex Sprouts had their fun at the first ever baby convention. Coworkers shocked one another at the talent show Saturday night where an array of hidden talents emerged. There was singing, dancing, rapping, comedy and of course a rocking performance from our very own band, Kings of Strachan.

Mo Success at Intelex

On November 1, fifteen of Intelex’s finest put down their razors and banded together to dedicate their faces to the world-wide phenomenon known as Movember, the global movement to change the face of men’s health.

We are proud to announce that the Intelex “Mo Bros” raised a total of $8,446.00 towards the cause! Michael Culkin, Sales Executive, led the pack with a total of $5050.00 in donations.  His dedication was an inspiration to the rest of the team, including Shyam Khagram, who took part from the British office!

The purpose of Movember is to raise awareness and support for Men’s Health Programs that fight prostate and testicular cancer. Men begin the month with a cleanly shaved face then grow their “mo” (moustache) for the next 30 days while asking friends and family to donate to their cause.

The program focuses on:

  • Awareness and education
  • Living with and beyond cancer
