As the saying goes: “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
That’s precisely the idea behind Expert Connect, our virtual event series designed to provide attendees with an exciting experience based on the exchange of ideas, experiences and industry knowledge. This is a true testament to our continued focus on trying to provide our customers, prospects and community with a breadth of experiences.
“There’s something refreshingly different, yet impactful, about learning through free-flowing dialog,” says Scott Gaddis, Vice President and Global Practice Leader, Safety and Health at Intelex. “It lends itself to heightened collaboration and ideation, which is ultimately our end-goal.”
Learning through Dialog: Expert Connect in a Nutshell
Now that we’ve provided context, let’s take a look the key details.
Each session will:
- Be facilitated by a moderator from Intelex, an industry expert and a panel of specialists.
- Consist of a 30-minute panel discussion followed by a 10-minute Q & A session.
- Take place on Wednesdays from 9:00 am–9:45 am EST (every 3 weeks).
- Have its own ESHQ-focused topic and will be announced in advance.
Our First Session: How Microlearning is Revolutionizing Training in the ESHQ Space
We’re excited to announce that our first session, How Microlearning is Revolutionizing Training in the ESHQ Space, will be held on Wednesday, August 26th. Facilitated by Scott Gaddis, Vice President and Global Practice Leader, Safety and Health and led by panelist Elisa Blasi, Senior Technical Training Specialist, the popularity of this topic has continued to build momentum in the last several months alone.
While Elisa will provide general background about microlearning and how she has been applying it to the training programs led by Intelex, the rest of the discussion will be based on the questions posed by attendees. That’s the beauty of this free-flowing format—you can shape its outcome.
