COVID-19 Update from Intelex: Working to Keep You Safe

No matter where you are located in the world, you likely are working through the impacts and risks associated with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) as it pertains to your employees, your customers, your community, and your business. At Intelex, we are doing the same.

We have established a COVID-19 Response Team who have been working behind the scenes for several weeks to put measures and policies in place to ensure that there is no significant impact on our products or our service.

As the global situation intensifies, we have taken a number of steps to do our part in reducing the risk of this outbreak to our customers, our staff, their families and their communities while ensuring business continuity during this challenging time.

Across our business, the solutions we deliver are ones necessary to enable infrastructure to function – power to be generated, water to be treated, connectivity to be maintained. You are counting on us as part of your value chain that keeps vehicles fueled, hospitals running, and the world’s food supply stable.

Intelex on the Front Lines

Intelex is being used on the front lines by many of our customers fighting COVID-19. In addition to action planning, exposure tracking, business continuity planning, and training, the risk assessment application is being used extensively. In one high-profile example, it was used to conduct the repatriation risk assessment of cruise line passengers that were stranded due to Coronavirus outbreak. It is now more critical than ever that we deliver for our customers.

While so much is changing around us in this global climate, what doesn’t change is our commitment to you: our users and customers. Thank you for continuing to place your trust in us.

As the situation continues to evolve, we have taken the following steps to maintain business continuity and protect the health of our employees and customers. Here’s an overview of some recent changes we have made to flatten the curve of spread of the virus, as well as to ensure that we can be here for you and your employees at this most crucial time for EHSQ professionals:

Work from Home & Business Continuity:

As of March 16, 2020, our employees around the world whose functions do not require them to be in the office will be working from home. We have not had any reported cases of employees with Coronavirus, and this decision was made in order to take the utmost precautions for our employees’ health.

Intelex will operate as if it is “business as usual,” and our employees have been set up with all of the tools they need to do their jobs. Intelex has operated with work-from-home and remote worker capabilities for many years, and we are well equipped to fully support remote working without any changes or disruptions to our technologies, hosting, or daily operations. We have a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) plan in place as per our ISO 27001 Certification, but at this point in time, we have no reason to trigger the plan. We will remain vigilant in monitoring the situation.

Contacting Intelex

Should you have an inquiry, need tech support, or simply want to connect with your Customer Success Manager or Project Team, reach out like you normally would. Our points of contact have not changed. Our phones, email, and support portal are working as they always do. There is no need for you to do anything differently.

Coronavirus EHSQ Resource Center

We are establishing a Coronavirus EHSQ Resource Center and are holding a three-part webinar series starting March 19th to help you as you work through managing the demands on your organization during this time. This resource center will include information on how your Intelex software can, for example, help you communicate urgent messages to your employees wherever they are while managing incidents and reports associated with Coronavirus and employee illness.

Quick links to other authorities and resources will also be included, as well as best practices shared from our user community and internal experts. We will notify you when the resource center is live.

Face-to-Face Meetings

Non-essential business travel has stopped for all Intelex employees, and all other travel has been restricted to business-critical only. We continue to be customer-focused and value face-to-face meetings, but to eliminate interaction risk, we will conduct all meetings via video conference.

Your Intelex team will reach out to if you (if they haven’t already) for any planned meetings or events, in order to explore virtual options with you. We have the infrastructure in place to conduct all meetings remotely. If you have a need to have Intelex employees onsite for any reason, we will work with you to assess your needs.

People First – Yours & Ours

At Intelex, we embrace a “People First” culture that encompasses the health, safety, and well-being of our people and yours as a top priority. We want to be clear that our COVID-19 response policies won’t change how we work with you, or our ability to provide the great products and services you rely on.

These measures will help protect not only our employees, customers, and partners, but also our global communities. We are continuously monitoring the situation as it evolves and will adjust our policies accordingly to help keep everyone safe and healthy.

As we look ahead, we believe we have an opportunity to use our expertise in helping teams respond quickly in critical situations to aid your facilities and the broader community in handling the challenges of the Coronavirus. You’ll hear more from us in the near future.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are here, as always, to partner with you to keep your employees safe, and your operations efficient.
