And the award for Technology Innovation goes to . . . Hussmann!

Hussmann is a world-class manufacturer of quality display cases and refrigeration systems. Their mission is to positively impact the lives of consumers by transforming the future of food retailing. Since 1906, Hussmann has provided innovative products, services and solutions for preserving and merchandising fresh foods, and is recognized throughout the world as a leader in manufacturing, selling, installing, and servicing display equipment and refrigeration systems for customers.

Technology Innovation is awarded to a customer who has effectively integrated Intelex with other technologies. To win this award, the innovative organization must display their API integration and explain its efficiency.

Over the past year, Hussmann has utilized the oData connections available through V6 reporting to create dozens of dashboards available to their users. They utilized Microsoft Power BI, but also have reports in Excel that utilize the oData tool. These reports are consumed by employees daily and have saved Hussmann tremendous amounts of time and made their reporting system much more robust. Previously maintaining two sets of data, one in the Intelex system, and one locally for reporting, Hussmann has streamlined their system and are now able to run all programs off of the Intelex database thanks to oData.
