Last week marked the 7th annual Intelex Vision Meeting which took place at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto. The event was yet again a huge success with over 300 Intelexians in attendance.
Everyone arrived bright and early to get started! As Intelexians arrived they were welcomed with their personalized swag bags. Branded blue hoodies, monkey sling shots, Intelex shades and the classic Vision Meeting mug (VM15 edition) were among the goodies each employee received.
A full day of empowering presentations and opportunities to network and socialize with their peers, the annual Vision Meeting has become the marquee event of the year for Intelexians. The day was hosted by Intelex President and CEO, Mark Jaine, who first highlighted the previous year’s successes and then focused on future goals for this coming year. Mark’s presentations were followed up by the senior executives from each department at Intelex who all spoke about what their key initiatives are for 2015. Afterwards it was clear that all Intelexians were charged with excitement and felt empowered to start working towards the milestones for 2015.
The afternoon was packed with more insightful presentations and some team builiding activities which gave everyone the chance to become more acquainted with faces from around the company. The highlight of these activities was the team Twitter contest! Intelex employees were divided into 20 teams and encouraged to showcase their artistic and creative abilities. Within a half-hour time limit, each group had to draw a picture that best described Intelex and then craft a 140 character tweet to accompany it and present their finished pieces to the whole company. Before wrapping up the day everyone gathered together for a champagne toast and a team photo that has become a Vision Meeting tradition. Luckily this year we were still able to squeeze everybody into the shot! The celebratory toast was the perfect way to close out the day and kick off the start of Casino Night which was filled with casino games, prize raffles and a dance party.
