Last week was a whirlwind of events – stemming from the 4th Annual Intelex User Conference, held at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto. The event had it all – visionary key note presentations, multiple hands-on training sessions and ongoing networking throughout the conference. The three day conference was even complemented with a great night out at the Rogers Centre, for the Blue Jays vs. Yankees game.
Every September we cherish this event, as it is an opportunity to connect in person with our customers, both local and international. The conference was an opportunity for clients to share best practices through seminars, exchange ideas in group projects, and learn new ways to operate and maximize the Intelex system.
Intelex’s CEO Mark Jaine provided the keynote speech at the event, on “Innovation, Transformation and Collaboration”. He showcased Intelex’s latest products, the vision of the company and discussed how our relationships with our client community will continue to help Intelex prosper as trusted, global EHSQ software providers.
A new addition to the conference this year was the introduction of the Intelex Excellence Awards. These awards recognized Intelex clients who demonstrated commitment to excellence, innovation and success in EHSQ management and software development and deployment.
The winners included:
• Toyota – Dream Builder
• Veresen – Collaboration
• Harris Steel Group – Safety Performance
• Campbell Soup Company – Environmental Stewardship
• Precision Wire Components – Quality Excellence
• FTS International – Innovation in Implementation
• NRG – Adoption
• David Snowball – Community Builder
• Nexteer – Global Solution
All in all, the conference was a smashing success. We even earned quite a few updates on Twitter tied to the hashtag #ILXUC2013.
