The months of February and March were ripe with excitement as Intelex was able to spread its wings across the pond on over to the United Kingdom. Devon Ambrose, an Intelex Project Consultant, conducted hands on Document Control training for the C-MAR Group, an industry leader in mobile offshore asset management, in London, England and Aberdeen, Scotland!
Devon's February arrival in England saw him train C-MAR representatives from London, Aberdeen, and Houston, Texas. After successfully training these individuals on the intricacies of the Document Control module, several focus groups were assembled and facilitated by Devon. He explained that one of the unique challenges of this particular session was the fact that, "C-MAR manages many different aspects of the offshore oil industry, so different parts of the organization have different requirements and intend on using the system for different purposes." It was quickly determined that the Intelex system was a perfect fit for several other projects stemming from C-MAR's Aberdeen location. As a result, additional training for employees in Aberdeen was conducted in March paving the way for a rollout of the Intelex system to C-MAR's global locations!
Devon's return to Toronto in both February and March brought Intelex a gleaming Project Consultant. With nothing but great experiences to share with his colleagues, Devon was quick to point out that the hospitality he received in London and Aberdeen was second to none! He was able to gain a great sense of the sights, sounds, and feel of English and Scottish culture while successfully meeting and exceeding the objectives set out for these particular sessions.
