Hello Everyone!
In case you haven’t heard yet, Intelex was selected as the fifth “Best Place to Work” in Canada last night by the “Great Place to Work Institute." Check them out here.
This is yet another great award for Intelex and totally a result of our exceptional culture and the great people we have here. We placed 5th out of 50 medium companies that were ranked, and many hundreds more that applied.
We also were one of six companies in 100 that won a special “Camaraderie” award!
I want everyone in the organization to feel free to be very proud of this achievement. I can’t stress enough that it is all about our Intelexians and how each one works with their colleagues, shares ideas, creates an open and trusting environment, and cultivates a workplace that is a pleasure to come to everyday.
The award is printed today in the Globe and Mail (pictured).
So, congratulations everyone, and thank you for making Intelex such a great place to work!

Wow! We're kinda pumped. For starters, it's been an amazing year for Intelex, award-wise. From being named one of Canada's 50 Best companies, to being singled out as one of the best GTA employers on two exclusive lists in the Globe and Mail and Toronto Star, the accolades have just kept coming, and last night was no different.
The Great Place to Work Institute held its major 2012 Best Workplaces in Canada gala, and presented the 100 best organizations to work for in Canada, singling out 50 medium and 50 enterprise organizations. As announcers came around to counting down Canada's top 10 organizations, we were on the edge of our seats! Then came the big moment as we were named Canada's fifth best place to work!
On top of that, Intelex was handed an exclusive award for camaraderie, which only five other companies of the 100 winners received. So it was a great night, and we're awfully proud to be among Canada's Top 10 organizations, and to be recognized for our company-wide spirit of trust and friendship.
The Great Place to Work institute is in itself a great organization and boasts one of the most comprehensive and intense scoring methodologies.
We were just thrilled to be keeping company with some of Canada's very best, including Google, which took home the number one spot in the Enterprise category. Go Intelex!

What a year! Following a cascade of achievements in awards competitions, Intelex has just received a huge accolade. We've been named one of Canada's 50 Best Small and Medium Employers! The competition, which pitted Intelex against hundreds of other small and medium employers across the country, was facilitated jointly by Queen's School of Business and AON Hewitt. The results were recently featured in PROFIT magazine.
Everyone at Intelex is thrilled by this achievement, which is another feather in an increasingly packed cap! In the past few months alone, Intelex was included on:
These wins are a gratifying acknowledgment of our relentless focus on creating a progressive work environment that prioritizes the needs of our greatest asset – our people. Sound like an attractive work environment? You bet. And we're hiring. Check out our careers page for postings and apply today.

Here at Intelex we like to have fun, but we’re also pretty serious about our role in the world, how we treat our employees, and answering the question 'why we do what we do'.
That’s why we established a series of corporate values that are core to our entire operation. Now, often companies state their corporate values, and they are written in a document that winds up collecting dust in some dark filing cabinet. We wanted to do things a little differently. We wanted to ensure we lived up to our stated values, and that we’re constantly reminded of what those values are.
So we decided to emblazon our office walls with all the values that drive our business. Every day, as employees walk the halls of our headquarters, they are reminded of the meaning behind the work they do and how our company impacts the world in positive ways.
Here are some of our core corporate values:
- Leadership
- Sustainability
- Integrity
- Respect For All Individuals
- Teamwork & Trust
- Stewardship
- Hard Work
- Happiness
Do our corporate values align with yours? We're growing rapidly and seeking top talent. Check out our careers page for more information.

In the beautiful north of Toronto, the stars glitter high in the night sky. But last weekend at Intelex's Annual Winter Retreat at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, the stars were on ice!
That’s right! More than 20 different Intelexians ranging from technical support to sales laced up their skates in front of their partners and peers to be a part of the first Annual Intelex Winter X Cup!
It was a beautiful day for a real outdoor experience including an Opening Ceremonies, the National Anthem, the official drop of the puck, and even player and fan interviews!

The game made for an amazing activity in which more than 100 Intelexians (Fans & Players) kicked off the Intelex Holiday Weekend.
The spirit was alive, off and on the ice. At the end of the event the cup was awarded to the winners, Team Jaine, but was shared by all Intelexians throughout the weekend.
The first annual X Cup was a complete success with no injuries, but some shattered pride.
Here’s to continuing the tradition at Deerhurst in 2013!

While Intelex has long boasted a truly global presence with an array of clients around the globe, we're excited to announce that we will be launching our first international office in 2012!
Beginning in February, Intelex will be better equipped to provide service and support our UK, European and Middle East clients through our new beachhead, to be based in the west London borough of Chiswick.
The office will be headed up by Intelex's VP of Sales, Stephen Ross, who couldn't be better suited for the role. In addition to being a 10-year veteran of the company, he acquired his Masters in Environmental Management at Manchester University before beginning at Intelex. Of course, he shall henceforth be known as "Ross. Stephen Ross."
Head to our Press Room for the full story. In the mean time, best of luck to Steve as he prepares to relocate in the New Year. Right oh.

This is my first year with Intelex and what better way to get to know my fellow coworkers than by growing moustaches together?
Yes, that’s right: the Intelex family participated in this year’s Movember. Ah, how my upper lip does miss its fuzzy warmth (sadly I had to say goodbye to it on December 1st).
In addition to Intelexians raising $2,635 throughout the month of November to help support research for prostate cancer, President and CEO Mark Jaine also pledged that the company would match all donations made during Movember, bringing the grand total to $5,270!
Intelexian Mo Bros and Mo Sistas diligently collected donations from family, friends and the local community to make this sizeable contribution.
From every Mo Bro and Sista at Intelex, thank you all for your support! And until next year, “May the Mo be with you!”
Some of the Intelex Mo Bros featured in the picture to the top right are as follows (from left to right): Avi Iliaguiev (Sales), Stephen Ross (Sales), JP Nadeau (Marketing), Mike Thompson (Marketing), Matt Conquer (GSS), Misha Raizberg (Development), Purdal Mya (Professional Development), Bryan Humphries (Professional Development), Richard Fenn (Development), Birendra Rajapreyar (Sales), Brett McLennan (Sales), Jeff Yaeger (GSS).
What is Movember you might ask?
Movember, the month formerly known as November, invites men and women across the globe to join together and raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues. Men grow a 'Mo' (moustache) for 30 days to become walking, talking billboards, for men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer.
Men who support Movember (or ‘Mo Bros’), start by registering at Movember.com, beginning the month clean shaven, and proceeding to grow and groom their moustache, for the rest of the month, raising money along the way. Women who support Movember, called Mo Sistas, also start by registering at Movember.com. Mo Sistas champion the Mo by supporting their Mo Bros, organizing events, leading a team and spreading the important message of men’s health.

We'd like to congratulate three excellent clients who have earned the distinction of being included in Gartner’s Supply Chain Top 25 for 2011.
Nestle, 3M and Kraft Foods have all been included in this year’s report. For the past seven years, Gartner has compiled supply chain research to raise awareness of the supply chain discipline and how it impacts business.
The results of this year's ranking and a discussion on where the Supply Chain Top 25 is heading in the future can be found here.
Congrats!

The accolades just keep piling on. Only a week after being singled-out as one of Toronto's top employers in the Globe and Mail, Intelex was ranked 15th out of 35 of the Greater Toronto Area's best employers in yet another employment award competition, the results of which were published in the Toronto Star last week.
Organized by Queen’s School of Business and Aon Hewitt, the Best Employers in the GTA competition evaluated workplace culture, benefits, retention, and most importantly, employee engagement. According to contest coordinators, the results of this study were influenced heavily by a survey conducted to determine how employees actually feel about their employer.
“The real litmus test of whether or not an organization is a Best Employer lies with the employees themselves,” explained Neil Crawford, Aon Hewitt’s study leader. “This study goes beyond satisfaction (how much I like things here) and commitment (how much I want to be here) to measure engagement (how much I want to and actually contribute to improving our business results). Without a focus on engagement, it’s difficult for organizations to achieve sustainable success.”
This win follows two other notable accomplishments for Intelex, including being featured in The Globe and Mail's list of the Greater Toronto Area's Top Employers 2012 as well as Deloitte's list of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America.

Only weeks after being included on Deloitte's list of the 500 fastest technology growing companies in North America, Intelex has another accolade to shout about. Today we were included in The Globe and Mail's list of the Greater Toronto Area's Top Employers 2012!
That's another great feather to add to our cap. The write-up in the Globe indicated we are 118 employees strong, but since that data was collected earlier this year, we have actually grown to over 150 employees! And as we continue our trend of impressive year-over-year growth, we're poised to leave that number in the dust in 2012.
On that note, we're hiring! If you live in or near the Toronto area, don't miss the opportunity to land a great job at a great company.
